The county formed a judging committee on October 30 and conducted a strict and fair evaluation process.
The winning entry is granted the rights to both the basic and detailed design phases, while the second to fifth place winners will receive compensation ranging from 10 million to 40 million won.
Dawool Architects & Engineers' design was highly praised by the judges for providing ample parking for 100 vehicles, efficient above-ground parking arrangements, and themed spaces such as 'Anmadang', 'Haengnangmadang', 'Sarangmadang', and 'Forest of Contemplation'.
The design also received high marks for its clear separation of spatial flow, the expression of a central courtyard, and the completeness of its landscaping plan.
The Daegaya-eup Complex Community will be constructed as a building with one basement level and four above-ground floors, with a total floor area of 7,006 square meters. Completion is targeted for December 2028.
The county plans to relocate the town office and establish the facility as a hub for living social overhead capital (SOC) by integrating childcare, education, and youth complex facilities, thereby contributing to the improvement of residents' quality of life.
