Human Technology announced on November 6 that its subsidiary, Human Argos, deployed its anti-drone system in a real-world operation during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit held in Gyeongju from October 31 to November 1.
Through this real-world deployment, Human Argos demonstrated the effectiveness and stability of its system at an international event, thereby enhancing the company's technological credibility in the global security and defense market.
During the APEC Summit, two types of anti-drone systems-fixed and mobile-were operated. The fixed system was installed near the main event venue, the HICO (Hwabaek International Convention Center) in Gyeongju, and was used throughout the event for security operations to ensure the safety of VIPs and attendees. The mobile system patrolled key national facilities, such as the Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant, providing real-time surveillance and immediate response in the event of a threat.
One of the key features of Human Argos is its ability to provide all systems required for drone attack and threat response as a total solution. The main systems include: ▲ radar ▲ RF scanner (radio frequency scanner) ▲ C2 software (integrated control program) ▲ EO·IR camera (electro-optical and infrared) ▲ RF jammer (neutralization) ▲ GNSS spoofer (satellite navigation deception system).
In particular, the mobile system is highly rated for its all-in-one configuration, with all equipment mounted on a single vehicle. This enables rapid and flexible operation in situations that require dynamic missions or in environments where installing fixed equipment is difficult.
A company representative stated, "During this APEC Summit, Human Argos' anti-drone system proved its outstanding performance and reliability in the field once again. We will continue to provide optimal anti-drone solutions that meet market demand through ongoing technological advancement and new product development."
Meanwhile, Human Argos plans to unveil a variety of new products at the 'KOREA C-UAS 2025'-the 2025 Korea Counter-UAS Expo-held at OSCO in Cheongju from November 18 to 20. This large-scale event will bring together military and defense officials, research institutions, and policymakers to share the latest trends in anti-drone technology, discuss industry development directions, and explore opportunities for business cooperation.
