On November 5, the Gangdong Police Station in Seoul announced that a woman in her 50s, who had been taken to the hospital after the stabbing incident the previous day, had passed away.
Since the victim has died, the police plan to add a murder charge to the suspect, a man in his 60s identified as A, who was previously arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The police will apply for a detention warrant on this day.
A, who was the head of the association for the redevelopment project, was apprehended at the scene at around 10:20 a.m. the previous day for wielding a weapon in the office. As a result of this incident, a woman in her 50s, a woman in her 60s, and a man in his 70s sustained serious injuries and were transported to the hospital.
