"Protecting Vulnerable Households"… Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service Conducts Electrical Safety Inspections and Maintenance Volunteer Work On the 4th, the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service conducted volunteer activities including electrical safety inspections and replacement of outdated electrical equipment for vulnerable households in Jung-gu, Ulsan.

This volunteer initiative was carried out as part of the organization's commitment to promoting a culture of safety for both the public and its employees, which is its highest priority.

A volunteer team composed of experts, including the organization's electrical and fire safety engineers, visited vulnerable households in the region to inspect electrical facilities such as distribution panels, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting. They also replaced outdated lighting fixtures with LED lights.

Additionally, each household received fire prevention equipment, including powder fire extinguishers, stick-type fire suppression devices, and automatic fire-suppression power strips. Residents were also provided with education on safety guidelines to help them conduct their own safety inspections.

Park Jonggil, President of the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service, stated, "This activity is a social contribution initiative that substantially enhances public safety through the donation of our experts' skills. We will continue to collaborate with local governments such as Jung-gu District Office in Ulsan to regularly carry out inspection and maintenance volunteer activities for vulnerable groups."
