600 Briquettes Delivered to Three Low-Income Households
Members of the International Wisemen Mokpo Bipa Club visited Mokwon-dong to carry out a charity briquette sharing volunteer activity.
Mokwon-dong in Mokpo, South Jeolla Province, announced that the International Wisemen Mokpo Bipa Club, part of the West Sea Central District of the Jeonnam Region of International Wisemen Korea, delivered 600 briquettes (200 per household) to three low-income households on November 1.
Thirteen club members participated in the volunteer activity, visiting each home in person to deliver the briquettes, check in on the residents, and share warmth in a meaningful way.
Lee Hyungil, President of the Mokpo Bipa Club, said, "It was very meaningful to be able to volunteer with our members so that vulnerable groups can spend a warm winter," adding, "We will continue to bring warmth to the local community through ongoing sharing activities."
Han Daehee, Head of Mokwon-dong, responded, "I would like to thank the members of the Mokpo Bipa Club for sharing their warm hearts through this charity briquette sharing," and added, "We will do our best to ensure that this warmth spreads widely to neighbors in need throughout the community."
