Last week, she earned valuable ranking points by finishing as the runner-up at the Maybank Championship on the LPGA Tour. Although Hyejin Choi debuted on the LPGA Tour in 2022, she has yet to secure a victory. However, her consistent performance each season has brought her total career earnings to $6,082,838, making her the highest-earning player among those who have not yet won a title.
Atthaya Thitikul of Thailand, Nelly Korda of the United States, and Minjee Lee of Australia maintained their positions as world numbers one through three. Miyu Yamashita of Japan, who defeated Hyejin Choi to win the Maybank Championship, jumped from sixth to fourth place last week.
Among Korean players, Kim Hyojoo holds the highest ranking at eighth. She is followed by Kim Seyoung at 12th, Yoo Haeran at 14th, Ko Jin-young at 23rd, Kim Arim at 25th, and Hwang Yoomin at 33rd. Ko Ji-won, who won last week's KLPGA S-OIL Championship, soared 32 spots to reach 82nd place.
