According to the county on November 3, the event, themed "Halloween Camping with Pets," attracted significant interest from families camping with their dogs, with all 22 campsites at the venue fully booked.

On October 31, 50 participants and over 20 companion dogs visited 18 sites, while on November 1, all 22 sites were reserved, bringing together about 70 campers and 23 dogs, adding to the lively atmosphere.

In addition, more than 30 visitors who arrived without prior reservations joined the event, bringing the total number of participants to around 150 and filling the venue with excitement.

The entire event space was decorated in a Halloween theme. In particular, pet-customized booths such as pet identification tag making, pet behavior correction therapy, and basic pet grooming demonstrations were operated alongside universally enjoyable programs like face painting, caricatures, and food trucks, providing a variety of attractions and experiences.

Each evening on the main stage, a professional MC hosted small-scale recreation activities, a talk show with invited pet trainers, and a reading of "Letters to Pets." At the caravan zone, a campfire session called "Healing Time by the Fire with Pets" was held, receiving enthusiastic responses from participants.

This event was jointly organized by Imsil County and the Wonkwang University RISE Project Group. The two organizations signed a business agreement in August with the goal of "advancing as a pet-friendly city" and are pursuing various initiatives such as developing pet industry programs and training specialized personnel.

Meanwhile, the Osu Opinion National Leisure Camping Site, a nature-friendly campground where visitors can enjoy time with their pets, has established itself as a healing destination for pet owners, attracting more than 1,000 visitors and over 500 companion animals within three months of its opening in July.

Lee Hyuna, lead professor of the Wonkwang University RISE Project Group, stated, "Through this event, we have confirmed that the Osu Opinion National Leisure Camping Site can become the representative pet-friendly campground in North Jeolla Province," adding, "Next year, we plan to present an upgraded festival with even more diverse programs and participatory content."

County Governor Sim Min commented, "This event became an opportunity for both pet owners and non-pet owners to come together and broaden awareness of pet culture," and added, "We will continue our efforts to make Imsil County a pet-friendly city in the future."
