Lunch and Souvenirs Provided for Participants
Namwon City in North Jeolla Province and the Jeonbuk Ecotourism Promotion Support Center will hold the 'Jirisan Guryong Waterfall Trail Happy Walking Event' at 9 a.m. on November 7 along the Guryong Waterfall Trail in Namwon.
According to the city on November 3, this event will bring together participants from across the country to walk through the beautiful nature of Jirisan, sharing health, healing, and the joys of culture.
The walking course starts at the Hogyung Public Parking Lot in Jucheon-myeon, passes Guryong Waterfall, and continues to the muddy water reduction facility, covering a distance of about 4 kilometers. It is a three-hour course, ideal for leisurely enjoying nature.
On the day of the event, shuttle buses will operate from Jeonju World Cup Stadium and Namwon City Hall, and all participants will be provided with lunch and souvenirs.
Before the main event, the 'Arang Gogo Janggu' performance will set the mood, and at the finish line, acoustic guitar and saxophone performances will add to the festive atmosphere.
A city official stated, "This walking event will be a special opportunity to care for both body and mind while enjoying cultural performances amid the clear air and beautiful scenery of Jirisan. We hope for much interest and participation."
