Woori Bank has launched support for foreign exchange risk management for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by promoting its corporate non-face-to-face FX platform, 'WooriWON FX'.
On November 3, Woori Bank announced that it had successfully concluded its participation in the 28th 'G-FAIR KOREA 2025', held at KINTEX. This event is the largest domestic exhibition for developing export channels, with over 500 SMEs participating.
At its dedicated booth in the technology hall, Woori Bank demonstrated the core features of 'WooriWON FX', including real-time exchange rate inquiry, order placement, and automatic settlement. Visitors were able to experience the platform firsthand and expressed a high level of satisfaction with its trading convenience. In addition, customized foreign exchange risk consultations for import and export companies were provided, receiving a positive response.
'WooriWON FX' is a corporate FX platform launched in January 2024, supporting spot FX, forward FX, and FX-SWAP transactions. It provides real-time exchange rate information for a total of 24 currencies, as well as advanced features such as limit orders and time-specified transactions, enabling users to trade efficiently at their desired rates and times. Companies can sign up non-face-to-face through Woori Bank's corporate internet banking or by visiting a branch office.
A Woori Bank representative stated, "At this G-FAIR, we confirmed strong interest by showcasing the differentiated features of 'WooriWON FX'. We will actively support SMEs in managing FX risk by leveraging strengths such as real-time trading in 24 currencies and time-specified transactions, and will continue to expand a convenient foreign exchange environment from a productive finance perspective."
