Hyundai Joins Korea Sale FESTA: "Up to 5 Million Won Off IONIQ 9, GV80"

Discounts Applied to a Total of 12,000 Vehicles

Hyundai Motor Company announced on November 2 that it will offer large-scale discounts throughout November in celebration of Korea's largest shopping festival, the '2025 Korea Sale FESTA'.

Through the 'Korea Sale FESTA', Hyundai will provide discounts on 12 models, including passenger cars and RVs, covering a total of approximately 12,000 vehicles.

For major models, the discounts are as follows: up to 1 million won for the Sonata and Tucson; up to 2 million won for the Grandeur and Santa Fe; and up to 5 million won for the IONIQ 9. For Genesis models, up to 3 million won for the G80 and GV70, and up to 5 million won for the GV80 will be offered.

Vehicle contracts linked to the Korea Sale FESTA will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis for each model with limited quantities. Detailed information can be found on Hyundai's official website and at Hyundai dealerships nationwide.

Hyundai will also hold customer participation events. Customers who receive a vehicle quote through a Car Master will be eligible for a prize draw, with prizes including a 77-inch LG Electronics OLED AI TV worth 5 million won (1 winner), an LG Styler clothing care system (4 winners), and a Gordon Miller premium car wash kit (1,000 winners).

A Hyundai representative stated, "With the scheduled end of the '30% reduction in individual consumption tax on automobiles' at the end of this year and the possibility that it will not be extended, November is expected to be the optimal time to take advantage of the 3.5% individual consumption tax rate (down from the previous 5%) for new car buyers."

Customers who sign a new car purchase contract this month can benefit from tax savings of up to 1.43 million won, and if they purchase a model included in the 'Korea Sale FESTA', they can enjoy the maximum purchase benefits.

The Hyundai representative added, "Since the reduction in individual consumption tax for new cars is expected to end this year, this November is the best time to enjoy both tax benefits and the '2025 Korea FESTA' discounts. We have prepared these discounts to mark the nation's largest shopping festival, so we hope customers considering a vehicle purchase will take advantage of the benefits before the available stock runs out."
