Gangwon Scholarship Hall, a scholarship facility operated by the Gangwon Talent Development Center, hosted a "Filial Piety Love Senior Citizens' Party" on October 31, inviting elderly residents from Nangok-dong, Gwanak-gu. The event was organized in celebration of Senior Citizens' Month to express gratitude to local seniors and to strengthen ties with the community.

Approximately 130 people attended the event, including executives and students from Gangwon Scholarship Hall, as well as representatives from local partner organizations. In particular, a performance by the Gwanak Cultural Foundation, which featured a blend of cello and haegeum melodies and a trot music stage, received an enthusiastic response as a lively cultural performance.
Gangwon Scholarship Hall thoughtfully prepared and delivered 100 meal packages for seniors living near the facility, consisting of nutritious samgyetang and specialty products from Gangwon Province. This sharing event was a meaningful occasion to wish for the health of local seniors and to remind the students of the values of filial piety and sharing.
A representative from Gangwon Scholarship Hall stated, "We hope this senior citizens' party provided an opportunity for the elderly to laugh and enjoy together," adding, "We will continue to pursue social contribution activities to promote mutual growth with the local community."
