The three-way 'chimaek' (chicken and beer) gathering of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong, and Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun has continued to generate buzz online.
The heads of these global companies, whose combined market capitalization amounts to approximately 8,300 trillion won, enjoyed a public chimaek meeting at the Kkanbu Chicken restaurant near Samseong Station in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 30th. The venue was packed with citizens eager to catch a glimpse of the three leaders, leaving barely any room to stand. As the meal drew to a close, the event extended to commemorative photos and autograph signings with the public.

What drew the most attention was the autograph given to a child named 'Lee Yejun.' Chairman Lee wrote, "Yejun, be a good son," along with his signature, while Chairman Chung simply left his autograph. CEO Huang filled nearly the entire front of the child's t-shirt with his large signature. The child was later identified as the son of the owner of the Kkanbu Chicken Samseong branch where the gathering took place.
Online users responded with amusement, saying, "That kid could bring the autographs to a Samsung job interview someday," "If he keeps the autographs and uses them as college tuition, he'll be a good son," "Lee Jae-yong's star power is no joke," and "Did he write 'be a good son' instead of 'become rich'? That's hilarious."

Who would pay for the dinner was also a hot topic among online users. When Chairman Lee declared, "I'll pay for everything today," the crowd began chanting "Jensen Huang." In response, CEO Huang joked, "These guys have a lot of money." Chairman Chung added, "I'll cover the next round," keeping the atmosphere light and friendly. A short while later, CEO Huang shouted, "Dinner is free!" prompting cheers and applause from the crowd. However, it was reported that Chairman Lee ultimately paid the bill. The total cost for all tables at the restaurant that night was about 2.5 million won.
