Recently, numerous eyewitness accounts and related videos claiming to have seen Cha Eun-woo in military uniform in Gyeongju have been posted on online communities and social networking services (SNS).

In the released footage, Cha Eun-woo is seen walking through the lobby of a hotel in Gyeongju while wearing his military uniform.

Cha Eun-woo is reportedly serving as a Private First Class in the military band under the Ministry of National Defense Service Support Group, and has been assigned to support events related to the 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit.

After news of Cha Eun-woo’s current status was released, netizens responded enthusiastically, saying, "He still looks handsome even with his face covered by a cap," and "His appearance brings honor to the country."
