Man in His 70s Dies After Being Pinned by Tree During Logging Work in Miryang Forest

At around 2:45 p.m. on October 30, a man in his 70s, identified as Mr. A, was pinned under a tree while carrying out logging work in a forested area in Miryang, South Gyeongsang Province.

As a result of the accident, Mr. A was transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest, but passed away during treatment.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident and whether there was any negligence on the part of the company, interviewing Mr. A's colleagues and other relevant individuals.
