The Wando County Office weightlifting team from South Jeolla Province won four medals at the 106th National Sports Festival.
According to Wando County on the 30th, at the event held from October 17 to 23, Kim Dongmin (men's 61kg division) won a silver medal in the snatch and a bronze medal in the total, while Kang Minwoo (men's 89kg division) earned a bronze medal in the snatch and a silver medal in the total.

Im Jeonghee (women's +87kg division), who won a bronze medal at the previous tournament, withdrew from this event due to a shoulder injury.
Coach Seo Hocheol said, "I am proud of the athletes who have quietly endured intensive training," adding, "We will do our best to prepare for the next competition and achieve even better results."
