This event is hosted by Namwon City and organized by the Namwon branch of the National Barefoot Walking Movement Headquarters. Participants from across the country are expected to gather, making the festival a venue for sharing health, healing, and culture through walking.

Participants will walk along the loess path, pine forest trail, and historical exploration routes, experiencing not only simple walking but also moments of inner peace and natural healing. A variety of programs will also be offered, allowing visitors to learn about the historical significance of Gyoryongsanseong Fortress and experience the beauty of local culture.

On the day of the event, there will be celebratory performances, a special lecture on barefoot walking, presentations on healing cases, and barefoot hiking. The first 500 participants will receive bottled water, rice cakes, and foldable backpacks.

The barefoot walking course utilizes the existing Gyoryongsan forest road and hiking trails. Namwon City invested a total of 2.5 billion won in the project, which began in April and was completed in just six months. The 2.7-kilometer route features a 1.1-kilometer loess path and a 1.6-kilometer forest trail, as well as various facilities such as a loess ball experience zone, stream-type foot washing station, rock garden, moss garden, and firefly lighting, offering a variety of barefoot walking experiences.

Kim Youngsim, head of the Namwon branch of the National Barefoot Walking Movement Headquarters, said, "This is the result of continuous efforts to create a better environment through the cooperation of city and council officials," adding, "I hope this festival will be an opportunity to share health and happiness in the nature of Namwon."

A city official stated, "Through this event, we hope that the Gyoryongsan Dulle-gil will become a healing destination in Namwon City where history, nature, and culture come together," and encouraged active participation from citizens and tourists alike.
