[Conference Call] Samsung Electronics: "61 Million Smartphones and 7 Million Tablets Sold in Q3"

On October 30, during the conference call following the announcement of its third-quarter results, Samsung Electronics stated, "In the third quarter, smartphone sales reached 61 million units and tablet sales reached 7 million units, with an average selling price (ASP) of 304 dollars." The company added, "In the fourth quarter, both sales volume and ASP are expected to decline compared to the previous quarter."
