Applications Accepted Until December 12
Gochang County in North Jeolla Province is recruiting a total of 118 survey personnel by December 12 to ensure the smooth implementation of the '2025 Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Census'.
According to the county on October 30, the upcoming Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Census is a nationwide, full-scale survey conducted every five years to assess the size, structure, distribution, and management types of all agricultural, forestry, and fishery households. The statistical data collected through this survey will serve as a foundational resource for the formulation of national and local agricultural and fisheries policies.
The reference date for the survey is December 1, 2025, and a total of 133 items will be investigated (58 for agricultural and forestry households, 30 for marine fisheries, 30 for inland fisheries, and 15 for administrative villages).
The survey will be conducted via two methods: online and in-person field visits. The online survey will take place from November 20 to December 10, while the field visits will be conducted from December 2 to December 22.
Survey personnel will be recruited until December 12, with 16 survey managers and 102 surveyors participating. Those selected will undergo preliminary training before taking part in the field survey.
Any responsible and diligent resident of Gochang County aged 18 or older is eligible to apply. Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in statistical surveys, holders of computer-related certifications, low-income individuals, families with multiple children, and unemployed youth.
Applicants can find detailed information in the recruitment announcement posted on the county office website. Applications may be submitted online via the official '2025 Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Census' website or by emailing the designated official, or by submitting the required documents in person to the Planning Team of the Planning and Budget Office at the county office.
A county official stated, "This census is a valuable process for accurately understanding the current state of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries in Gochang County and for developing better policies. We ask for the interest and participation of many people who love the county and can work with responsibility."
