This award ceremony was held on October 28, 2025, at the National Assembly Members' Office Building in Yeouido, Seoul, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the restoration of local autonomy. The event recognized regional and municipal council members from across the country who contributed to community development over the past year.

As a first-term member of the Cheongsong County Council, Assemblywoman Park has earned the trust of residents by practicing "on-site legislation with the people." She has been recognized for visiting every corner of the county to listen to residents' voices and meticulously addressing issues affecting their daily lives, driving tangible changes in Cheongsong County through her attentive legislative work.

In particular, Assemblywoman Park has focused her legislative activities on improving the quality of life for county residents in a variety of areas, including welfare, education, rural revitalization, and policies for women and youth.

She has laid the foundation for balanced regional development by proposing practical policies to foster the next generation in Cheongsong County, strengthen agricultural competitiveness, and expand care for vulnerable groups.

Assemblywoman Shin Young Park stated, "This award is not a personal honor, but the result created by the people of Cheongsong," adding, "I will continue to respond with 'on-site legislation' that brings about change in Cheongsong together with its residents."

A representative from the Korea Voter Central Association commented, "Assemblywoman Shin Young Park has demonstrated responsible legislative activities that solve problems from the perspective of the residents," and evaluated her as "an exemplary council member who has practiced resident-centered legislation, which is fundamental to local autonomy."

This award is a result of the Cheongsong County Council's efforts to strengthen communication with residents and realize a field-oriented council. Assemblywoman Park's sincere approach is enhancing trust in local politics.

Assemblywoman Shin Young Park is known as a "field-oriented council member" who connects with residents through actions rather than words. The changes she is bringing to Cheongsong may not be flashy, but they are taking root in the lives of the people with genuine sincerity. Marking 30 years of local autonomy, Assemblywoman Park's legislative philosophy exemplifies the direction grassroots democracy should pursue.
