Securing Trust in Security Beyond Technology and Content
Accelerating New Businesses in CG and VFX
CJ 4DPLEX has obtained the integrated certification from the Trusted Partner Network (TPN), Hollywood's leading security verification system. While the company had previously received individual certifications for each business division, this is the first time that the entire legal entity has passed the TPN assessment.
On October 29, CJ 4DPLEX announced, "The company’s security system has been officially recognized as meeting global standards." TPN is operated by the Motion Picture Association (MPA) and the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA) to prevent content leaks. Major Hollywood studios consider TPN certification as the top criterion when selecting production partners, and the certification comprehensively evaluates system, facility, and personnel security.
With this certification, CJ 4DPLEX has established a foundation for collaborating with Hollywood studios from the early stages of production. In addition to its technological competitiveness, the company has now secured security credibility, which is expected to accelerate the global expansion of new businesses such as CG and VFX.
CEO Bang Junsik stated, "The integrated TPN certification proves that CJ 4DPLEX is a global partner equipped with technology, content, and security capabilities," adding, "We will expand in-depth collaborations and continue to grow our new business areas."
Currently, CJ 4DPLEX operates more than 770 4DX theaters and 440 ScreenX theaters worldwide, totaling over 1,200 special theaters. This year, a series of major contracts with global cinema chains is expected to increase the number of screens to 1,300. The company aims to expand partnerships to reach 2,000 theaters by 2030 and will actively pursue an AI, CG, and VFX-based content ecosystem.
