The Presidential Office announced that at the special dinner hosted by President Lee for President Trump that evening, a premium Western-style course meal would be served. The menu includes dumplings with Yeongwol Ogol Chicken and truffles, Gyeongju Millennium Hanwoo sirloin, Gyeongju Namsan pine mushrooms, Guryongpo flatfish topped with caviar farmed in Jirisan, among other top-quality dishes.

The Presidential Office explained, "Through this premium Western-style dinner crafted with the rich ingredients and history of Gyeongju, we wish for deep friendship and harmony among the leaders attending the special dinner."

Reflecting President Trump's fondness for lobster, a poached lobster tail dish was also prepared. The Ogol Chicken dumplings combine Korea's traditional health food ingredient, Ogol Chicken, with truffles, a hallmark of Western cuisine, symbolizing a wish for unity among the attending leaders.

For the dinner wine, Trump Chardonnay and Trump Cabernet Sauvignon from the winery run by President Trump's son, Eric Trump, were selected.

At the Korea-U.S. summit luncheon held in Gyeongju that day, a special menu was also prepared for President Trump.

The appetizer featured seafood such as Shinan shrimp, Goheung scallops, and Wando abalone, paired with Thousand Island dressing to symbolize the success story of New York, President Trump's hometown.

The main course consisted of braised short ribs made with U.S. beef, served with rice cooked from Gyeongju's new-harvest rice, Gongju chestnuts, Pyeongchang radish and carrots, and Cheonan mushrooms. For dessert, a gold-adorned brownie and citrus treat were served to celebrate the golden era of the Korea-U.S. alliance that President Lee and President Trump aim to usher in.

The dessert plate was inscribed with the word "PEACE!" to commemorate the first meeting of the two leaders, who had previously pledged to be "peacemakers" and "pacemakers" for each other.

The Presidential Office explained, "The fusion Korean cuisine, crafted with specialties from across the country and tailored to President Trump's preferences, was prepared to wish for a golden future for the Korea-U.S. alliance and to highlight the rich flavors of Korean food."

In particular, the Presidential Office paid special attention to President Trump's fondness for gold by preparing gold-adorned desserts. President Lee also attracted attention by wearing a specially made golden tie featuring Hunminjeongeum patterns for President Trump.
