Some members of a group holding an anti-Trump rally near the Gyeongju National Museum, where the South Korea-U.S. summit is taking place, attempted to break through the police line.

According to police on October 29, around 70 participants in the anti-American demonstration broke through the police barricade and advanced to within about 100 meters of the Gyeongju National Museum, where they continued their protest.
The distance from Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond to the Gyeongju National Museum is approximately 400 to 500 meters in a straight line. The protesters evaded police control and marched about 200 to 300 meters along a four-lane road.
Holding banners that read "NO Trump, Withdraw U.S. Investment," the protesters clashed physically with the police, but no major injuries have been reported.
In preparation for any potential incidents, the police set up a barricade of police buses on the road leading to the Gyeongju National Museum. Currently, after being blocked from entering the event venue, the protesters are confronting the police outside the control line, chanting slogans.
