Continuing On-Site, Customized Employment Support Achievements
for Samheung Heat Treatment, a Metal Heat Treatment Specialist
The Yangsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (Director Kwon Guhyung) held the second recruitment event of the "Job Demand Day" at the Miryang Hope Dream Employment Support Center on the 29th, targeting Samheung Heat Treatment, a company specializing in metal heat treatment.
This event was organized as a follow-up support case to respond to the company’s ongoing demand for manpower and to strengthen on-site, customized employment support, following the first event held on July 16, which resulted in the actual hiring of seven individuals.
The event was co-hosted by the Gimhae Employment Center and the Miryang Employment Center, with the City of Miryang and Inje University participating as partner organizations. Notably, the Gyeongnam Federation of Employers’ Middle-aged and Senior Employment Center newly joined, further enhancing employment support functions for middle-aged and senior job seekers.
On-site, practical job search support programs such as a company briefing session, one-on-one resume coaching, and on-site interviews were provided, drawing high interest from a diverse range of job seekers from youth to seniors.
This recruitment event was also linked to the "Comprehensive Corporate Support Service," which the Ministry of Employment and Labor has been implementing nationwide since August. This service is an integrated consulting initiative led by employment centers, providing one-stop, tailored consulting, recruitment support, and guidance on government support programs for leading local companies and those facing recruitment difficulties.
Currently, the Yangsan Branch continues to provide customized employment support services to a total of 40 companies, including 29 in Gimhae, 8 in Yangsan, and 3 in Miryang.
Samheung Heat Treatment, a participating company in this service, hired multiple job seekers at the first event and is recognized as an exemplary case for achieving both policy and on-site results by linking senior internship subsidies for workers aged 60 and above.
Kwon Guhyung, Director of the Yangsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor, stated, "Job Demand Day is not a one-off event, but a strategic, customized employment support model linked to the Comprehensive Corporate Support Service. We will continue to expand successful employment service cases that connect policy and the field, like the example of Samheung Heat Treatment."
