A Local Food Festival Amid the Autumn Scenery
Discounts and Free Tastings of Korean Beef and Pork at Yangyang Market Road
To Be Held in Front of Yangyang County Agricultural Technology Center from October 31 to November 2
The Yangyang New Vitality Plus Project Team, hosted by Yangyang County and sponsored by Yangyang County, will hold the "Fragrance of Autumn, Yangyang Market Road" event for three days from October 31 to November 2, 2025, in front of the main building of the Yangyang County Agricultural Technology Center.
This event has been organized to widely promote the region's attractive local food and to provide enjoyable memories and hands-on experiences for residents and tourists alike.
Main programs include the Yangyang Local Food Flea Market, the "Everyday Nine O'Clock" pop-up store, a chroma key photo zone, discounted sales (20-30%) and free tastings of Korean beef and pork, a chrysanthemum bonsai and wildfire damage photo exhibition, as well as workshops for making potted plants and pressed flower accessories, among many other events.
In particular, during the event period, a flea market featuring 24 seller teams will operate, offering high-quality local agricultural products, processed goods, handicrafts, and food. Visitors can enjoy a variety of free hands-on programs such as making Shrinkles keyrings and soap clay, and can create special memories at the chroma key photo zone.
Additionally, free Korean beef tasting sessions will be available throughout the event, and four musical performances per day-including fusion Korean traditional music, trot, magic shows, and musicals-will provide a rich array of entertainment. Free pork tasting sessions will be held only on the weekend.
Furthermore, customers who spend over 30,000 won at Market Road will receive 1 kg of freshly harvested rice, and those who spend over 60,000 won will receive 2 kg. Purchases of Korean beef and pork are excluded from the giveaway promotion.
Hwang Byeonggil, Director of the Yangyang County Agricultural Technology Center, said, "We hope this event will allow everyone to experience the region's unique local food in one place and enjoy a variety of activities and entertainment amid the rich autumn atmosphere."
