Yeongdeok County in North Gyeongsang Province has maintained the event venue for the upcoming International H Wellness Festa, which will be held from October 30 to November 2, using beach cleaner equipment to clean the area from Daejin Beach to Deokcheon Beach.

The beach cleaners are capable of removing various types of litter such as discarded cigarette butts, cans, plastic bottles, broken glass, and vinyl up to a depth of 15 cm in the sand. In particular, they excel at quickly clearing seaweed and driftwood washed ashore by typhoons or heavy rain, making them highly effective for maintaining the sandy beach environment.
The International H Wellness Festa, co-hosted by North Gyeongsang Province and Yeongdeok County, is being held this year under the slogan "Wellness, Closer Than Ever." Credible organizations from 15 countries around the world, including the Association of Korean Medicine, have been invited, allowing visitors to experience leading global natural medicine practices, from K-Hanbang (Korean traditional medicine) to Ayurveda, the traditional medicine of India.
Attendees will also be able to explore and experience the domestic and international wellness industries and tourism in one place, enjoying the essence of wellness trends and the wellness industry.
Yeongdeok County plans to operate various zones at this event, including medical healing experiences, lifestyle healing experiences, nature healing experiences, food healing experiences, cultural healing experiences, and a wellness rest zone. Services such as traditional Korean medicine diagnosis, yoga, and five-element health foods will also be offered.
County Governor Kim Kwangyeol stated, "This year marks the fourth International H Wellness Festa, and it will be a milestone year for Yeongdeok County to establish itself as a hub for wellness tourism both domestically and internationally. We expect this event to make a significant contribution to revitalizing the local economy and strengthening the competitiveness of the tourism industry."
