Minister Jung further stated, "Through reflection and resolution regarding past cases of unjust state violence, Korea is also upholding the spirit of Article 1 of the Constitution, which declares that the people are the true owners of the nation." He added, "We have done our best to normalize daily life for the people through measures to support economic revitalization and a strong response to crime." He continued, "The steps toward recovery and reform by the Lee Jaemyung administration are like a mighty river; even if it appears calm, the current is an unstoppable force."
