This patriotic culture festival featured a variety of programs, including a peace parade, a memorial finger food zone, the Honor Medal Challenge, and the K-Hero Four-Cut Photo Booth, capturing the attention of visitors.
In particular, the Memorial Food Zone, where participants could experience signature dishes from UN member countries and foods from the Korean War era, was very popular. It provided families with an opportunity to express respect and gratitude toward the countries that participated in the war.
In addition, through the 'Honoring Patriots Here' website, which was operated in connection with the event, an online event is currently being held where visitors can upload photos taken at the festival for a chance to win gift certificates through a raffle.
The Busan Regional Office of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs stated, "We hope that through this patriotic culture festival, held in Busan, home to the world's only United Nations Memorial Cemetery, all visitors were able to reflect on the value and meaning of national defense." The office added, "We plan to continue organizing various events to promote the noble spirit of the veterans to the citizens of Busan."
