Tinkware Achieves First Place for 12 Consecutive Years in Black Box Category of Korea Standard-Quality Excellence Index

Strengthening Market Leadership with the AI-Based Premium Black Box 'iNavi QXD1 PLUS'

Tinkware announced on October 28 that its brand 'iNavi' has achieved first place for the 12th consecutive year in the vehicle black box category of the '2025 Korea Standard-Quality Excellence Index (KS-QEI)', hosted by the Korean Standards Association (KSA).

The Korea Standard-Quality Excellence Index (KS-QEI) is an indicator that comprehensively analyzes the excellence and satisfaction of product quality for products and services that have a direct or indirect impact on consumers. The analysis is based on evaluations from both consumers who have purchased or used the company's products and product experts.

Based on a measurement model jointly developed by the Korean Standards Association and the Korean Society for Quality Management, the index is recognized for its high reliability as it reflects not only consumer opinions but also expert evaluations. In this survey, 'iNavi' received high scores in all categories, including consumer and expert evaluations and quality index, securing the top position.

In particular, Tinkware has been recognized for setting a new standard in black box technology by introducing the 'iNavi QXD1 PLUS', which combines artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and deep learning technology. This product has learned from over 500,000 driving data points, enabling precise recognition of objects and vehicle license plates. It also detects approaching objects in real time while parked and records only the necessary situations accurately. In the event of an impact, the system immediately sends a notification-including the vehicle license plate number-to the user's smartphone, enabling a swift response to the situation based on enhanced recognition accuracy.

Namkyung Lee, Head of Marketing at Tinkware, stated, "Achieving first place for 12 consecutive years is the result of our continuous technological innovation and quality enhancement to meet the trust and expectations of our consumers." He added, "Even in the rapidly changing mobility environment, Tinkware is setting a new standard in the black box market by focusing on AI-based video recognition technology and differentiated customer experiences. We will continue to introduce even more advanced driving safety solutions based on our accumulated data and technological expertise."
