LG Electronics announced on October 28 that it will unveil a giant chandelier made from the world's first wireless transparent TV, the 'LG Signature OLED T,' which integrates advanced TV technology, at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit held in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province.

LG Electronics plans to showcase this chandelier at the K-Tech Showcase, which will take place from October 28 to 31 at Gyeongju Expo Grand Park. This event is organized to introduce the cutting-edge technological capabilities of Korean companies to global leaders attending the APEC Summit. For this purpose, a 1,650-square-meter air dome booth has been set up at Gyeongju Expo Grand Park.

LG Electronics created the giant chandelier by arranging 28 units of the 77-inch Signature OLED T in a circle around vertically elongated lighting. Visitors can enjoy the visuals from any direction with a 360-degree view.

The transparent screens display vivid images such as cascading stars, the deep sea, and stained glass, which harmonize with the light from the central fixture to create beautiful scenes. The Signature OLED T units encircling the lights move in sync with the video content, repeatedly opening and closing. When fully open, the unique slim side profile of the OLED design is accentuated by the light.

The LG Signature OLED T redefines the viewing experience by combining the overwhelming picture quality of 4K (3840×2160) OLED, a transparent screen, and wireless AV transmission and reception technology-representing the most advanced TV technology available today. Recognized for its technological excellence, the product won two awards at the IFA 2025 Innovation Awards held in Germany last month: the highest honor, 'Best of IFA,' and the top prize in the Home Entertainment category.

LG Electronics will also set up an exhibition booth in the second-floor lobby of the Gyeongju Arts Center, where the APEC CEO Summit is being held, to showcase 'AI Core Tech,' which applies artificial intelligence to core component technologies such as motors and compressors that the company has developed over decades.

By placing a WashTower and refrigerator behind transparent OLED signage and matching real products with video content on the transparent screens, LG Electronics demonstrates the differentiated AI Core Tech applied to the refrigerator's 'Inverter Linear Compressor' and the WashTower's 'AI DD Motor.'

Visitors can observe how the AI DD Motor in the WashTower detects the weight and fabric type of laundry, operating delicately to minimize fabric damage, as well as how AI analyzes user patterns and adjusts the refrigerator’s Inverter Linear Compressor to keep food fresh.
