The event focused on reinforcing the link between local industries and university education through problem-solving PBL (Problem-Based Learning) projects based on the industrial characteristics and current issues of the Busan region.

A total of 53 teams, comprising 287 students, participated in the competition and presented the results of their ongoing projects. Participants aimed to create practical outcomes by developing their results into startup items or employment portfolios, thereby connecting their work to career achievements.

As a result of the judging, a total of 27 teams were awarded: 4 teams received the Grand Prize (one team per field), 5 teams received the Gold Prize, 8 teams received the Silver Prize, and 10 teams received the Bronze Prize.

Lee Hwaseok, Head of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation at Dong-Eui Science University, stated, "Through this competition, I hope students will develop the ability to solve problems required in real industrial settings, going beyond the boundaries between theory and practice," adding, "We will continue to nurture practical talents who contribute to the development of local industries."

The PBL-Based Capstone Design Program at Dong-Eui Science University is operated around four major specialization areas: future mobility, convergence components and materials, lifestyle, and culture and tourism. The university continues to promote education and research focused on solving community issues, thereby strengthening its position as a hub for fostering professional technical talent.
