Yangsan City, South Gyeongsang Province (Mayor Na Dongyeon), announced that the 'Nakdonggang Siwolae Concert' held at Hwangsan Park on the 25th concluded successfully with an audience of around 10,000 people.

This event commemorated the 30th anniversary of Yangsan's elevation to city status, and included both the proclamation ceremony for the 2026 Year of Visiting Yangsan and the Declaration Ceremony for the Great Transformation of the Nakdonggang Cooperation Era. It was organized as an emotional autumn festival for families and neighbors to enjoy together.

During the Declaration Ceremony for the Great Transformation of the Nakdonggang Cooperation Era, a joint water-mixing performance by seven local governments along the Nakdong River symbolically represented their shared vision of "CONNECTED Nakdonggang, where joy comes together as one." The declaration also expressed their commitment to achieving sustainable regional development and shared prosperity by building economic, cultural, and ecological communities centered around the Nakdong River.

At the proclamation ceremony for the Year of Visiting, citizens and visitors gathered and shared warm lights, while the co-representatives of the Citizens' Promotion Committee for the Year of Visiting took the stage to symbolically express "Yangsan tourism created by everyone." A large-scale fireworks display lit up the night sky, bringing the emotional atmosphere to its peak.

At the commemorative concert, popular singers Insooni, Urban Zakapa, Kim Heejae, and Lim Changjung delivered a variety of explosive performances. The Yangsan City Choir and the region's leading dance team, SMJ Dance Team, also performed, further enhancing the quality of the show.

Throughout the venue, various festivals such as the Yangsan Chrysanthemum Festival and Egg Night Festa took place simultaneously, showcasing the event as a comprehensive cultural festival where families could stay and enjoy a wide range of activities.

Mayor Na Dongyeon stated, "This concert was a stage of unity with our citizens and a starting point for opening a new future for Yangsan. Through the upcoming 2026 Year of Visiting Yangsan, we will widely promote Yangsan's cultural and tourism competitiveness nationwide, and take another leap forward as a future-oriented city through win-win cooperation centered on the Nakdong River."
