The Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (headed by Kim Byungsam) announced on October 27 that it is operating a promotional booth at the '2025 APEC Economic Exhibition Hall' for 13 days, from October 20 to November 1, actively promoting the excellent investment environment and future growth vision of the Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone to domestic and international business leaders.
The '2025 APEC Economic Exhibition Hall' is a special exhibition event set up at the Gyeongju Expo Grand Park Plaza to coincide with the visit of economic leaders from various countries for the '2025 APEC Summit.' The 2,700-square-meter exhibition hall consists of the Korea Industrial History Hall, Advanced Future Industry Hall, Regional Enterprise Hall, and Cultural Experience Hall. Full-scale operations began on October 27, the start of the summit week.
The Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority has set up an 8-square-meter promotional booth within the Advanced Industry Vision Lounge of the Economic Exhibition Hall, showcasing the strengths of eight investment districts, including the Yeongcheon High-Tech Park District, a future-oriented automotive parts valley, and Suseong Alpha City, a digital innovation hub.
In particular, the DGFEZ promotional booth, themed as a 'Platform for Business Success,' features a bus stop-inspired space design to attract visitors' attention. It is organized so that anyone can vividly envision Daegu and Gyeongbuk's growth as a center of future advanced industries, focusing on DGFEZ's three core strategic sectors: ICT and robotics, medical and bio, and future mobility.
Kim Byungsam, head of the authority, stated, "The APEC Economic Exhibition Hall is a global event where business leaders, investors, and government officials from around the world gather. We will do our utmost to position the Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority as the ultimate destination for global investment and as a key driver leading the economic growth of Daegu and Gyeongbuk."
