Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province and the Yangju Community Social Security Council (co-chaired by Chae Jeongseon) jointly hosted the "2025 Yangju City Social Welfare Expo" at Okjeong Lake Park on the 25th to commemorate Social Welfare Day.

The expo, held under the theme "Connecting Citizens and Welfare, Yangju Together," featured participation from 29 local social welfare institutions and facilities, as well as township and neighborhood community social security councils, all of which operated a variety of experience and promotional booths.
In particular, a range of events-including the Welfare Golden Bell quiz, a joint walkathon for people with and without disabilities, a Samulnori (traditional percussion) performance, and a band concert-allowed citizens to experience the meaning of social welfare in an easy and enjoyable way.
Co-chair Chae Jeongseon said, "I would like to thank everyone who participated in preparing and running the expo, and I hope this event has become a festive space for welfare that reaches out to citizens."
Yangju City Mayor Yang Soo-hyun stated, "I hope this Social Welfare Expo serves as an opportunity for citizens to take an interest in the welfare policies operated by the city," adding, "I ask for the continued interest and cooperation of local social welfare institutions, organizations, and citizens so that Yangju can truly become a happy and welfare-oriented city."
