According to the county on October 27, the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Census is a national statistical survey that comprehensively examines the rural population structure, farm management conditions, climate response, and living infrastructure for all agricultural, forestry, and fishery households nationwide. The collected data serves as the most important foundational resource for establishing policies for agricultural and fishing villages. The survey will begin with an online preliminary survey starting November 20 and will continue until December 22.

For this census, the county is recruiting a total of 48 enumerators, including one general manager, two survey support staff, five survey managers, and forty enumerators. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility. Preference will be given to those who are able to use smart devices such as tablet PCs.

In addition, individuals with prior experience in statistical surveys, those holding computer-related certifications, people with disabilities, national merit recipients, and low-income individuals will be given priority in hiring according to relevant criteria. Applications can be submitted in person at the General Affairs and Welfare Team of the Administrative Support Division at Jangsu County Office.

For more details, please refer to the notices and announcements section on the county office’s website. Those selected as enumerators will receive separate training and practical exercises before the main survey to enhance their understanding and accuracy of the survey.

County Governor Choi Hunsik stated, "The Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Census is an important national statistical project that objectively diagnoses the realities of agricultural and fishing villages and serves as the basis for designing region-specific policies." He added, "The success of the survey depends on the thoroughness of the enumerators and the cooperation of residents, so we ask for the active participation of those interested in the development of the region."
