Skonec Entertainment, a company specializing in XR (extended reality) content, announced on the 27th that it will officially launch the psychological horror game "Who's at the Door?" on Smilegate's game platform STOVE Store on the 28th. To celebrate the launch, a 30% discount promotion off the regular price will also be offered.
"Who's at the Door?" is a narrative-driven psychological horror game that explores the fear within the human mind at the boundary between reality and hallucination. Players take on the role of a schizophrenic patient suffering from hallucinations and must confront a suspicious visitor knocking at the door. The game heightens tension by forcing players to choose between only two options: "Will you open the door, or take your medication?" A single wrong decision can reset the entire process.
A Skonec representative explained, "This title is more than just a scary experience; it is a game that compels players to confront their own fears. We wanted to convey the message that the essence of fear lies not outside, but within the human mind."
The game was first released on Steam, where it has received a "Very Positive" user rating. Despite its short playtime (about 1-2 hours), it has earned high praise for its intense immersion and narrative completeness. In addition, its multi-ending structure-which encourages players to replay in search of the 'true final ending'-and support for multiple languages (including Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, and Spanish) have enhanced accessibility for global users.
With this STOVE Store launch, Skonec aims to expand its connection with domestic gamers and plans to further broaden its range of genres based on its intellectual property in the future.
