Monthly Sales in Singapore Reach 1.2 Billion KRW as of June
On October 27, athleisure brand Andar announced the opening of its third Singapore store, a 178-square-meter location in the VivoCity mixed-use shopping mall.
Previously, Andar opened official stores at Marina Square in July 2023 and at Takashimaya Department Store on Orchard Road in June 2024. As of June 2024, Andar achieved monthly sales of 1.2 billion KRW in Singapore.
VivoCity is a major transportation hub connecting mainland Singapore and Sentosa Island. Recognized by Forbes as Singapore's top shopping mall, it attracts approximately 50 million visitors annually.
This store features an extensive product lineup tailored to the lifestyle and climate of Singaporean customers. Signature items, such as the swimwear line made from proprietary fabrics, are prominently displayed at the front of the store, reflecting VivoCity’s role as a gateway to Sentosa Island and Singapore’s tropical climate. The store layout has also been efficiently organized to accommodate the large proportion of family customers, with dedicated sections for junior, women’s, and men’s lines.
Gong Seongah, CEO of Andar, stated, "Singapore is a key hub connecting East and West and serves as one of the main bases for Andar’s global market expansion. Moving forward, we plan to strengthen our position as the leading K-athleisure brand by expanding from Singapore into Greater China and Southeast Asia, where K-culture has significant influence."
Currently, Andar is pursuing a global expansion strategy focused on high-income countries, with Singapore, Japan, Australia, and the United States serving as its four key bases.
