In the second presentation, Jung Hyunchang, Senior Researcher at the Chonnam National University Cultural Heritage Research Institute, examined "The Place Names of Yi Sunshin's Garrisons in Boseong," verifying the routes based on literature and topographical analysis, particularly focusing on Myeonggyo Village (Baeksajeong) and Gunhak Village (Gunyeonggumi).

In the third presentation, Kim Sanguk, Research Fellow at the Mokpo University Island Culture Research Institute, discussed "The Activities of Boseong's Righteous Army during the Imjin War," highlighting the spirit of resistance and patriotism of Boseong's militia who fought and died in battles in places such as Namwon, Seongju, and Jinju.

The group discussion featured Han Donghun, former MBN-TV Public Relations Manager, Lee Yonggyu, Production Director of Mudeung Ilbo, and Park Ilhun, Publisher of Namak Newspaper.

Governor Kim Cheolwoo stated, "The Yeolseonru Yi Sunshin Academic Seminar is the first step in academically illuminating the historical ties between Admiral Yi Sunshin and Boseong, and in passing on his spirit to future generations. We will continue to develop Yeolseonru as a historical and cultural landmark of Boseong that attracts visitors from across the country."
