The 'Motivational Enhancement Program' is designed to relieve tension through physical health activities and to strengthen motivation for sobriety by improving self-efficacy and self-esteem, thereby laying the foundation for recovery.

Eligible participants are Yangju City residents who have been diagnosed with alcohol use disorder. Those interested in joining can apply by phone or via QR code.

The Yangju City Mental Health Welfare Center operates a variety of educational and counseling programs to promote mental health and prevent mental illness in the community. The center also continues its efforts to raise awareness and provide treatment support for alcohol addiction issues, as well as other mental health concerns.

Song Mi-ae, Head of Health Administration, stated, "Strengthening internal motivation to stop alcohol use is the first step toward recovery," and added, "We will continue to operate various programs so that citizens struggling with alcohol addiction can take another step forward in their recovery process."
