The Integrated Maintenance Center, which spans approximately 5,600 square meters, was designed to centralize operations that were previously dispersed, including parts and material management, aircraft inspections, aircraft repairs, and maintenance technology training. Located near the apron, the center reduces both the physical distance and time required to transport parts from the maintenance center to the aircraft.
Eastar Jet plans to maximize maintenance efficiency through the establishment of this Integrated Maintenance Center, thereby ensuring on-time performance and strengthening both operational safety and maintenance quality.
At the opening ceremony, Cho Joongseok, CEO of Eastar Jet, stated, "The establishment of the Integrated Maintenance Center demonstrates Eastar Jet's unwavering commitment to aviation safety and represents a strategic investment to enhance our technological competitiveness. The expertise and experience accumulated here will serve as a solid foundation for boosting Eastar Jet's global competitiveness and advancing as a sustainable airline."
Meanwhile, Eastar Jet continues to pursue ongoing innovation and investment based on its core value of 'Safety First.' The company invested 30.2 billion won in 2023, 96 billion won in 2024, and more than 115.2 billion won in 2025 in aviation safety, including the expansion of equipment and facilities for maintenance. Next year, Eastar Jet also plans to sequentially introduce new equipment and advanced facilities.
