Successful Completion of the Parent Education Community Communication & Cooperation Workshop

Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwangdeok) successfully held the 'Parent Future Education Community Communication & Cooperation Workshop' at a cafe in Hwado-eup on the 23rd.

This workshop was organized to invigorate the local educational community and to explore the direction of future education through cooperation between the city and parents.

The event began with a 'Violin & Tenor Solo Opening Performance' by Human Book Cho Daemyung, followed by a special lecture on future education titled 'Families Meet to Love Each Other!', and a communication session with the mayor. It became a meaningful occasion that fostered solidarity and participation within the educational community.

Mayor Joo Gwangdeok emphasized, "The life of Dasan Jeong Yak-yong was a model of communication and cooperation," adding, "Only when families, schools, and the local community come together can the growth of our children be truly fulfilled."

A parent who attended the workshop shared, "I realized that education is not the sole responsibility of schools, but something that families and the local community create together. Through this workshop, I experienced the power of communication by sharing thoughts with Namyangju City and other parents."

Meanwhile, since July, the city has been operating a Parent Academy to strengthen parents' educational capabilities and expand their participation in education, with plans to continue the program through December.
