Gyeonggi Fire Department to Conduct Fire Safety Inspections at 350 College Entrance Exam Sites

The Gyeonggi Provincial Fire and Disaster Headquarters will conduct fire safety inspections at 350 exam sites across the province ahead of the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test, which is scheduled for November 13.


This inspection is a measure to ensure that test-takers can concentrate on the exam in a safe environment.

The main inspection items include: the maintenance and management status of fire safety facilities; securing evacuation routes and removing potential obstacles in advance; checking whether entrances and emergency exits are open; preparing for possible malfunctions during the listening test; and providing safety consulting on precautions for the test day.


In particular, if any deficiencies in fire safety facilities or hazards along evacuation routes are found during the inspection, minor issues will be corrected and supplemented immediately on site, while necessary matters will be addressed in cooperation with relevant agencies and resolved before the test date.
