According to the county on the 24th, this event is designed to raise awareness of local culture and revitalize the regional economy by offering experiential programs featuring autumn flowers such as chrysanthemums, zinnias, and cosmos for Gochang residents and tourists.
During the event, visitors can enjoy a variety of programs, including photo booth experiences, hand care sessions, and the "Spin the Flower Gacha" activity. Notably, on the lawn stage, there will be busking performances and a fashion show featuring local and professional artists, including fusion classical and acoustic guitar performances. In addition, three types of nostalgic games will be held as competitions involving the audience.
For the nostalgic games, teams will compete in three traditional games: "The Rose of Sharon Has Bloomed," "Flower Tile Flipping," and "Ttakji Chigi." The winning team will receive the Gochang Love Gift Certificate. Up to 20 participants can join these games on a first-come, first-served basis at the venue.
Throughout the event site, there will be flower field photo zones and a flower parasol rental service. The "Click! The Moment Flowers Bloom" program will also be available, offering instant Polaroid photos to those who follow the Gochang County social media account and upload pictures.
Additionally, visitors can enjoy free flower tea and fruit sharing, as well as a pine roll experience program operated by a group for people with disabilities, providing moments of relaxation and healing.
County Governor Sim Deokseop said, "This flower garden event is an opportunity for local residents and tourists to fully enjoy the autumn atmosphere and create precious memories together," adding, "We will continue to promote various events that contribute to the revitalization of local culture and economic development."
