Issued Exclusively to Kiwoom Securities Hero Membership Members
Shinhan Card announced on the 24th that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Kiwoom Securities to launch a premium product for top-tier clients, the "Kiwoom Securities Legendary·Super Hero Shinhan Card."
Only Hero Membership members among Kiwoom Securities clients are eligible to apply for the card. Hero Membership is a VIP program for overseas stock investors. Members with L and SSS grades can receive the Legendary card, while those with SS and S grades can receive the Super card.
Both cards offer a variety of premium lifestyle benefits, including airline mileage accrual.
First, for every 1,500 won spent on domestic and international purchases, either in a single payment or in installments, 1 Korean Air mile is earned as a basic benefit. For overseas spending, an additional 1 Korean Air mile is accrued for every 1,500 won spent.
In addition to mileage accrual, 1% of spending at domestic luxury hotels, overseas merchants, and duty-free shops, as well as 3% of spending at GS Caltex gas stations, can be accumulated as MyShinhan Points. These benefits are provided if cardholders spend at least 300,000 won in the previous month.
For the Legendary card, as an annual gift option, cardholders can choose between a 400,000 won Shinsegae gift certificate (mobile voucher) or 400,000 MyShinhan Points. As a bonus, up to 100,000 additional MyShinhan Points can be accrued annually based on total spending.
Additionally, if cardholders spend at least 500,000 won in the previous month, they receive a 10% discount on spending at medical institutions such as hospitals, Korean medicine clinics, and dental clinics, up to 30,000 won per month and 200,000 won per year.
For spending of 100,000 won or more at outdoor golf courses in Korea, a 20,000 won discount is provided once per day, up to 40,000 won per month and 200,000 won per year.
Cardholders receive a 10% discount on Starbucks purchases, up to 20,000 won per month and 10 times per month. Through the app, the "The Lounge" service offers free access to airport lounges worldwide up to 2 times per month and 20 times per year.
For the Super card, as an annual gift option, cardholders can choose between a 200,000 won Shinsegae gift certificate (mobile voucher) or 200,000 MyShinhan Points.
As a bonus gift, up to 60,000 additional MyShinhan Points can be accrued annually based on total spending. If cardholders spend at least 500,000 won in the previous month, they receive a 10% discount on Starbucks purchases, up to 10,000 won per month and 5 times per month. The Lounge service is available up to once per month and 10 times per year.
The annual fee for the Legendary card is 697,000 won for domestic use and 700,000 won for international use (Mastercard World). For the Super card, the annual fee is 297,000 won for domestic use and 300,000 won for international use.
