The Gyeonggi Provincial Government has announced that it will provide youth interview allowances of up to 500,000 won, with applications opening on October 27.
The youth interview allowance program is designed to reduce the financial burden of interview expenses for young people and to support active job-seeking efforts. The program provides allowances for up to 10 interviews.
Any young person who participated in a job interview after January 1, 2025, is between the ages of 18 and 39 as of the application date, and whose resident registration address is in Gyeonggi Province, is eligible to apply regardless of employment status.
Applications can be submitted online through Jobaba Apply (apply.jobaba.net). Successful applicants will receive 50,000 won per interview activity, up to a maximum of 10 times per year.
However, applicants will be excluded if they are currently participating in similar programs such as unemployment benefits, Gyeonggi Women’s Employment Support Fund, or the Youth Job Seeker Transportation Support Program.
Kim Sunhwa, Director of Youth Opportunities at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, stated, "As the National Assembly has recently proposed a bill for interview allowances, we will continue to work to reduce the burden on young job seekers in Gyeonggi Province."
