On the 23rd, Kim Namjun, spokesperson for the Presidential Office, responded broadly to a question at the Presidential Office in Yongsan regarding the public apology by Lee Sangkyung, First Vice Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. He stated, "We are listening carefully and seriously to various issues and the voices of the people."
This response is interpreted as an indication that the government is closely monitoring changes in public sentiment following the real estate policy, including the controversial remarks made earlier by Vice Minister Lee.
Regarding this, spokesperson Kim conveyed that President Lee Jaemyung did not make any separate remarks about public sentiment on real estate during the senior secretary meeting he presided over that day.
