Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwangdeok) held the "2025 Namyangju Garden Culture Expo Performance Sharing Meeting" at the Namyangju Garden Support Center on the 23rd.

This performance sharing meeting was organized to review the results of the Garden Culture Expo, which was created together with citizens, gather public feedback, and explore future directions for development. Through this event, the city laid the foundation for the expansion of citizen-participatory garden culture and shared its vision for advancing as a garden city.
The event was attended by 33 citizen gardeners and citizen promotion team members, and proceeded in the following order: sharing the results of the expo, presentations of citizen gardener activity cases, and an open discussion and collection of opinions.
On site, citizen gardeners shared their experiences operating garden culture and interpretation programs, introducing the citizen-led aspects of the expo. Participants highly valued the fact that citizens directly planned and participated in this expo.
Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stated, "This Namyangju Garden Culture Expo was a true civic festival, planned and enjoyed by the citizens themselves," and added, "The city will actively support efforts so that all of Namyangju can be connected as one large garden through gardens."

The city plans to incorporate the feedback collected at the event into the future operation of the expo and its garden culture policies, and will strengthen its cooperation system with citizen gardeners to realize 'Namyangju, the garden city created by citizens.'
