Jangheung County Provides Birth Celebration Gifts to Large and Multicultural Families

Jangheung County in Jeonnam Province recently announced on October 23 that it had delivered baby bathtubs, underwear, toys, and other gifts to a local large family who recently welcomed their seventh child. On October 21, the county also provided a multicultural family in Daedeok-eup, who gave birth to their fourth child, with a laundry dryer, local gift certificates, bedding, and an agricultural product package.

In particular, this multicultural family had been living in poor housing conditions, so since the first half of this year, they have received support to improve their living environment through various welfare resources, including wallpaper and flooring replacements, door and window upgrades, and bathroom renovations.

The Daedeok-eup Community Social Security Council is also implementing child-focused programs such as the "Clean Home Safe Disinfection Team Project," which provides disinfection services to households with children, and the "Cultural Exploration Support Project" for children's cultural experiences.
