Utilizing Veteran Customs Brokers for Industry-Specific Group Matching
On October 23, Changwon Special City conducted an 'On-site Consulting for Customs Response' for its partner companies at the conference room of Gyeongnam Steel headquarters.
This event was part of the '2025 Customs Grievance Reception Service Project.' Utilizing the customs broker pool of the Changwon Industry Promotion Agency, veteran customs brokers visited company sites to diagnose customs-related difficulties and provide practical solutions.
In particular, this consulting session was organized as a follow-up measure to the 'Briefing Session on Response Strategies for U.S. Customs Policy' and the one-on-one customs consultations held on September 17. It aimed to provide more in-depth support for customs issues by industry sector.
On this day, three customs brokers participated, consulting with eight partner companies of Gyeongnam Steel and offering tailored solutions to their customs challenges. In addition, experts, local government officials, and companies discussed practical support measures to help alleviate the customs burden faced by export companies.
Park Jinyeol, Director of Economic and Job Affairs, stated, "We will continue to work with veteran customs brokers to minimize customs-related damages and promote group consulting by industry sector," adding, "I hope this on-site consulting will serve as a foundation for strengthening the global competitiveness and sustainable growth of export companies."
