On this day, Suwon Nambu Fire Station promoted and inspected fire prevention safety rules for unmanned stores, including: mandatory installation of fire extinguishing equipment in stores with a total floor area of 33 square meters or more; prohibition of multi-plug extension cords; installation of intelligent CCTV; safe use of seasonal electrical devices (such as electric mats and air conditioners); and verification of proper operation of circuit breakers.

Ko Youngju, Chief of Suwon Nambu Fire Station, stated, "Unmanned stores are convenient to use, but due to carelessness or insufficient management by those responsible, a small spark can lead to significant damage. Both business owners and customers need to be safety-conscious."

According to Suwon Nambu Fire Station, the main causes of fires at unmanned stores were electrical factors (42.3%) and mechanical factors and carelessness (19.2%).
