During the '777 Residency Open Studio' on October 24, resident artists will open their creative workspaces to the public, showcasing the results of their year-long artistic activities.

Visitors will be able to freely explore the open studios, observe works and creative processes across various genres such as painting, sculpture, installation, and media, and communicate directly with the artists.

This year, in particular, the event will introduce a new critical experiment program called 'Critic Circuit' to seek a healthy cycle within the art ecosystem.

This program is a conversational critique session in which four art professionals meet one-on-one with ten resident artists for 20-minute in-depth discussions, delving deeply into the artists' concerns and creative worlds.

The participating experts include: Kang Honggu (photographer and painter), Ko Yoonjung (Director of Flow & Beat), Park Sunyoung (arts and culture planner), and Paek Hanseung (critic and photographer).

On October 25, a variety of hands-on programs involving resident artists and local residents will take place at the studio, nearby outdoor spaces, and the 777 Life Culture Center area.

The day's events will feature: art experiences with resident artists, the local resident participation program 'Dongnae (洞內) Outing', and art experience booths (operating from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.), all designed to engage the interest of citizens.

Director Lee Gyeyoung stated, "This event serves as a platform connecting artists' creative processes with citizens' everyday culture, contributing to the sustainable growth of the local art ecosystem," adding, "We will continue our efforts to develop Yangju as a cultural city where citizens and artists grow together."
